What is coreless linear motor？And Why we use it？
Core-less
linear motor is a new type of special motor. The force units of core-less
linear motor is placed between two magnetic rails. It is also called U-channel
motors. There is no iron core in the coil of the force units, which is called a
core-less motor, also known as a U-shaped linear motor. Linear motor is a kind
of power transmission device that converts electric energy directly into linear
motion mechanical energy.
Due
to core-less linear motor with no wear, zero backlash, plus no attraction
between forcer and stator. It can be applied to the installation platform
without deformation, light payload and demand continuous motion curve. For
example: high speed light load automation equipment, dust-free environment
automation equipment, flat plate equipment, optical testing equipment, scanning
electron microscopy equipment, semiconductor equipment, machine tool wire
cutting equipment, CAM lathe equipment etc.
