Magnetic levitation motor is a special motor with stator and mover operating without contact. According to the magnetic force, it can be divided into attractive type and repulsive type. According to the magnetic coupling, it can be divided into independent control type of suspension force and driving force and coupled control type of suspension force and driving force. According to the stator and mover structure, it is divided into magnetic levitation rotary motor and magnetic levitation linear motor. It can be used for magnetic levitation train, magnetic levitation bearing and magnetic levitation artificial heart blood pump and other occasions.
Maglev permanent magnet motor is a linear synchronous motor, and the ordinary permanent magnet motor is a rotating synchronous motor which the rotor in the stator.
